I'm so excited that they have picked my photo to help advertise a new book called The Great Ice Storm and Blackout of 2009! Holiday Cheer

It has been too long since I've posted-- the hustlebustle of the holidays, I admit, has gotten the best of me. So, on this Christmas evening, I am posting some family photos from earlier this month, at my dad's birthday.

Deja Vu

Remember Liam?!?! Finally, finally, finally! Liam has a baby brother, Aidan! This family is amazing and such fun to work with. Aidan is only eleven days old--the youngest baby I've worked with yet, and he was just a dream. I got so many great shots and I've spent the night editing, but I couldn't resist posting a sneak peek. Winter Comes Early to Maine!

Wow. Wow wow. I remember the "Ice Storm of '98" and how I kicked myself over and over for not getting out and shooting the world covered in ice. This weekend I got another chance. Along with the unfortunate power outages, wood shortages, and property destruction came the most beautiful day I've seen in some time! With no tv, internet, or heat, and a day home from work, I figured it was the right time to get out and use up the rest of my battery power! Here it is:
